What each category covers

How it works

From brief to quotation.

  1. 01

    Send your brief

Product, market, volume, timing. Blanks are fine.

  2. 02

    Requirements assessed

We check it against what we can serve and come back with questions.

  3. 03

    Routes identified

The Italian routes that fit format, volume and market.

  4. 04

    Introductions coordinated

Quotes, samples and introductions, with the follow-up handled.

Where we work

One country, properly.

Italian manufacturing and nothing else. A desk spread across ten countries knows none of them well enough to be worth calling.

Why Italy

A base built for other people's production.

Much of Italian manufacturing runs on subcontract and third-party work. Which factories, and whether any fits your requirement, is what the research answers.

Subcontract as core business

For many, producing for others is the main activity rather than an exception.

Clustered supply

Suppliers and finishing often sit close together, which shortens lead times.

EU manufacturing

Production inside the EU, with the documentation that implies.

Who we work with

Who sends us requirements.

You have the channel and need supply to put through it.

What you usually arrive with
A category, a target landed cost, a market you already serve.
What we do first
We establish the volume and the price point, because those decide which factories are worth approaching at all.

Common questions

Before you send a brief.

Do you own a factory?

No. We are a sourcing desk, not a manufacturer, laboratory or certification body. Any supply contract is between you and the manufacturer.

What does it cost?

Agreed in writing before work begins, and it depends on the engagement. We do not publish a price list for work your brief defines.

What minimum order quantity should I expect?

It depends on format and manufacturer. A capsule run and a glass-bottled liquid carry different floors. Establishing it early is part of what the brief is for.

Will my company name be shared with suppliers?

Only what is needed to get a meaningful answer. Say so in the brief and we will approach manufacturers without naming you.

Tell us what you are sourcing.

We read every brief before replying.
